Why we need you
We need you to run stands in your local community and in our shop, promoting Scope and raising funds for our work. You’ll be spreading the word about what we do and collecting monetary donations. By doing this, you’ll add to our fundraised income, meaning that we can fund more vital work towards achieving equality for the 14 million disabled people living in the UK.
Where and when
This is a very flexible volunteer role on days and times that suit you. You’ll be carrying out this role in your local community and at your local Scope shop in Devonport.
How we will support you
• Volunteer induction into Scope
• Relevant training
• One to one support and regular catch ups with your manager
• Pre-agreed travel and lunch expenses (if applicable)
• We will make accessibility adjustments to the role (if you require this)
What we are looking for
No experience necessary. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident speaking to the public and has a good level of spoken English. You’ll need enthusiasm and a desire to raise funds and awareness.
