Volunteer charity shop Supervisor Hinckley

Minimum time commitment: 1 hour per week

Support shop staff and volunteers, develop your skills and be a disability gamechanger in your local community.

About your role

You will help raise vital charity income to fund our work to achieve everyday equality for disabled people. As a Lead Volunteer for Scope you will help to oversee the running of our shop and support other volunteers to have a great experience. Once you’ve completed the training, you might get involved in:

• Being a key-holder, opening and closing the shop
• Overseeing and supporting other volunteers
• Supporting the shop manager and assistant manager
• Banking and cashing up
• In-store promotions and campaigns

Where and when

You will be based at 14/16 Regent Street, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 0AZ. This is a very flexible role however we do require a commitment of a minimum of 16 hours per week. We are open 7 days a week, so chat to us about the hours and days that suit you.

In light of recent government advice on Covid- 19, you will be asked to wear a face mask whilst volunteering in our shops unless you are exempt. Our shops teams are doing everything they can to support staff and volunteers to feel safe in store.

**Please note: if you would like to progress from Level 1 to take on Level 2 training a DBS check will be required at the time.
