We are looking for a Workforce Systems Administrator to join our Workforce Systems team within the Workforce Directorate.

About the role

  • To provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure that Workforce information is kept up to date and accurate in Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and that key deadlines, such as payroll cut-off, are met. 
  • Ensuring that the update of staff records in Electronic Staff Record for new starters, contractual changes and leavers are in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the Electronic Staff Record Administration Team generic email inboxes are monitored and actioned on a daily basis and that the associated logs and spreadsheets are accurate and kept up to date.
  • Support the Trust Employee Compliance and Reference processes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Payroll, Finance and managers.
  • Be conversant with Agenda for Change terms and conditions, Medical and Dental terms and conditions, local arrangements and Trust policies, as appropriate to the role. For example, pay scales.
  • To proactively identify data quality issues within Electronic Staff Record and work with other members of the Workforce Department to rectify these

Requirements

  • NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or equivalent relevant experience (such as HR, Training or Administrative and Clerical)
  • Experience in an administrative office environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to deal with confidential and sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy at all times
  • Experience of working as part of a team
