Key information

This is a part-time position totalling 15 hours per week, working 7.5 hours per day on each Monday & Tuesday afternoon between 12:30 and 20:00 each day.

About the role

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards of environmental cleaning and prepare meals for service.

We need people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety as well as the importance of adherence to infection prevention and control standards at all times.

Duties include but are not limited to: - vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internal glass, sanitary ware, such as baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings and floor cleaning. In addition the role will require some food handling to support the provision of a meal service for patients in our care.

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Essential criteria
  • demonstrate grasp of functional skills in Maths & English
