As part of our Safe Homes team, you’ll support the Fire Safety Manager to meet legislative requirements, embed best practice, carry out fire safety inspections, and deliver the fire risk assessment programme.

About the role

  • Carrying out, reviewing, and monitoring fire risk assessments.
  • Identifying high fire risk areas and work activities, ensuring these are comprehensively risk assessed.
  • Providing advice relating to emergency routes and exits, fire detection and warning systems, firefighting equipment, emergency evacuation plans, and the needs of vulnerable people.
  • Championing fire safety to colleagues and acting as a point of contact regarding fire safety.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle to travel between work locations is essential.
  • IFE or equivalent registered Fire Risk Assessor.
  • Experience in a similar role.
