As a key member of our catering staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

• Assist the Vending team to fill and cleaning vending machines.
• Assist the Chef when required.
• Serve meals, snacks, and drinks, including  assisting customers
• Clean and maintain equipment, crockery, and cutlery as required
• Support and provide service in various areas, including serveries, retail outlets, hospitality functions, and coffee shops
• Ensure all food is handled in accordance with Food Safety & Quality Management System standards
• Carry out work in compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and Codes of Practice
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
• Maintain proper storage of raw materials and packaging materials
• Actively contribute to the Zero Harm culture within the organisation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the catering operation

Successful applicants will be required to provide a three-year employment . They must be able to provide in date photographic ID and their right to work in the UK so that security clearance can be obtained as these roles are based on a nuclear regulated site.

• Customer Care and Customer Service experience, preferably in a Catering environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and inventory management
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn on the job
• Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (Desirable)
• Level 2 Health and Safety Qualification (Desirable)
• First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
• Previous experience in large-scale catering operations (Desirable)
• Prior responsibility for stock and cash management control (Desirable)
