During this internship, you will work in three areas of Stephenson Harwood's People team (which is what we call our HR, Recruitment, Talent Development, and D and I teams). Over the course of the eight weeks, you will rotate around three areas of the People team – the Talent Development team, the Future Talent team (our early careers team) and the Lateral Partner team (where we recruit experienced hires). 
£13.85
per hour
Full time, Hybrid, Internship
(35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday for 8 weeks)
1 Finsbury Circus, London EC2M 7SH with hybrid working, 3 days per week in office (flexible)

About the role

HR Recruitment and Development Administrator will be involved in a range of activities based on the company’s needs and priorities, with key tasks and responsibilities listed in the full job description

What you will learn:

  • How the HR and People team works within an international law firm.
  • How to coordinate training sessions and support trainers to run successful training sessions.
  • How to use a Learning Management System to support the delivery of training programmes.
  • How to utilise Microsoft Office applications to facilitate effective communication and event management
  • How to identify strong potential in candidate applications.
  • How to communicate effectively with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • How to communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient teamwork.
  • What is involved in the attraction, selection and onboarding process of experienced hires in an international law firm.

Requirements

  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to task management.
  • Strong literacy skills.
  • Creative thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • High level of IT competency and understanding of programmes including MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Professionalism.
