We are recruiting a full-time fixed term position working 37 hours per week. This role may require you to work on evenings and weekends in accordance with the needs of the service. You’ll be based at Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre; however, you’ll be required to travel across the city to undertake community visits. Appointment to this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
As a Live Well Engagement Advisor, you’ll manage a caseload of clients and monitor their progress, as well as make onward referrals where appropriate, to support clients in further enhancing their health and wellbeing. You’ll be required to organise and deliver outreach work with priority groups across Leicester city to target the hardest to reach smokers, such as people living in deprivation areas, adults in routine and manual occupations, adults who have never worked or are long-term unemployed, and social housing tenants.
In addition, you’ll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and be an exceptional communicator. You must be able to build relationships, prioritise your time effectively, and make a positive impact on local communities by developing and implementing new methods of engagement for the stop smoking service in Live Well.
