(37.5 hours per week, across a 5 day week Monday to Friday. Flexible working will be required as necessary.)

Key information

This role will suit a creative, strategic, and proactive individual who has started their marketing career and is looking to continue to develop their marketing knowledge and skills within the entertainment industry. You will be responsible for planning and delivering impactful marketing campaigns to reach Lightroom’s audience and sales objectives. Working closely with a range of internal and external collaborators you will build Lightroom’s reputation as the home of world-class creative storytelling and be a guardian for the Lightroom brand across B2C and some B2B initiatives.

About the role

Campaign Management

  • Delivery of end-to-end marketing campaigns on a show-by-show basis (including but not limited to audience research, creative development, key messages, media planning, partnership activations, budget management and approvals). 
  • Liaison with external suppliers and partners including media agencies, publicity agencies, creative agencies, the Kings Cross estate and external ticketing distribution partners.
  • Create campaign presentations for IP holders and other key stakeholders. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Producer on show specific digital content and event planning. 
  • Work with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure all creative artwork is produced in good time and to a high standard.
  • Create campaign debrief reports to inform future planning.
  • Attend meetings and events as appropriate. 

Digital Marketing and Channel Growth

  • Brief, monitor and optimise digital campaign performance working closely with our digital marketing agency.
  • Create and deliver a social-first creative and influencer strategy for upcoming Lightroom shows. 
  • Support Marketing Coordinator on the growth strategy of our Lightroom customer database communications.

Audience Development and Reporting

  • Stay on top of the latest media trends and work closely with our paid media agencies to extend our audiences and drive more footfall to the venue.
  • Alongside the Marketing Director, understand and develop audience demographic data and monitor customer booking trends, to inform audience targets and communication for new projects. 
  • Contribute to the development of Access schemes and manage relevant marketing communications. 
  • Work with Head of Visitor Experience to ensure consistent visitor communications across all touch points
  • Work with Head of Ticketing and Marketing Coordinator on group, school and tourism specific campaign assets to grow our visitor numbers in these areas.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral for distribution agents and promotional partnerships are communicated correctly and appropriately in accordance with ASA guidelines. 

Commercial Marketing 

  • Plan and create commercial event promotional assets for the events team.
  • Work with the Bar and Events Manager and Head of Retail to increase cross-sell opportunities through onsite and online marketing and promotions.

  • Experience within a marketing team 
  • Knowledge of managing budgets
  • Managed relationships with external companies
  • Excellent organisation, administrative skills and strong attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and able to multitask
  • Unafraid to be hands-on
  • A good team player but able to get on with work independently
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Experience of the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Articulate, clear communicator who is proactive in their approach to the work
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms
