£27,000
per year, increasing to £28,000 in the second year.
Full time, Temporary
(37.5 hours per week)

Key information

The Operations Graduate will contribute to the best service for our customers by supporting the delivery of our timetable promise, optimising capacity to meet their needs and providing the best possible experience.

This is a 22 month fixed term contract.

This role will require you to work weekends so flexibility is needed. 

About the role

  • You’ll contribute towards and manage various projects, at times simultaneously.
  • You’ll work across different areas in the Operational Directorate.
  • You’ll take part in the Early Talent Development Programme by attending regular workshops and learning sessions for personal development
  • You’ll participate in a group project where you will collaborate to deliver tangible outcomes on a real business project over a 6 month period.
  • You’ll take part in the Early Talent Mentoring Scheme.
  • As a Graduate you’ll plan up to one week in advance to prioritise the delivery of projects

Requirements

  • A degree / Apprenticeship degree in a subject such a Business / Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or other relevant area.
  • Experience of utilising time management and prioritisation skills to effectively achieve goals / objectives.
  • Understanding of the importance of health and safety in the context of the transportation sector.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of both internal and external stakeholders at different organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated alignment to our core graduate attributes and values.
