About the role

As Performance Technician, you will carry out in depth fault finding to solve technical issues. You will primarily focus on live defects, ensuring all relevant reports and procedures and materials are available to the maintenance team.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • Set up Work Reports in advance of unit arrivals so that all work required is captured.
  • Review completed work to develop a ‘Right First Time’ approach to defects.
  • Liaise with Maintenance Control, Stores, Control and Engineering to ensure the team has all the information to hand when needed.
  • Fault finding and investigation of recurring and prolonged faults.
  • Writing in-depth technical reports on technical issues and faults.
  • Provision of information to Engineering on possible technical improvements to the fleet.
