We’re looking for a Policy Assistant to join our Conduct Regulation team.
£30,000 to £32,000
per year
Full time, Hybrid
London EC3N 2LB

Key information

They will help ensure the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) policies, frameworks and guidance are fair, proportionate and work well for insurers, long term savings providers and their customers.

We are open to flexible, part time and/or job share working – please let us know if this would be your preference. We work in a hybrid way with at least 40% of time in the office.

Our team is made up of people who are new to insurance, those who are highly experienced, and everyone in-between, so we welcome people from all career and industry backgrounds.

About the role

  • Support the team with selected General Insurance, Long-Term Savings, Health & Protection, UK and international conduct regulation issues.
  • Provide research and analysis to help formulate persuasive policy positions.
  • Support and co-ordinate the conduct team’s event programme, web pages and weekly newsletter.
  • Update members on relevant regulatory developments.
  • Prepare drafts of policy papers and summary documents and contribute to policy development work.
  • Monitor and help to influence the development of FCA initiatives.
  • Attend, participate and support relevant Committees and Panels.
  • Provide organisational support and coordination for team-wide processes and projects.
