About the role

To support on a variety of projects within Rail Operations, contributing to key priorities such as operational planning, safety, customer experience, communications, and performance improvement.

Requirements

Are there any essential requirements?  

  • To apply for this role, you must be in university applying for a 12-month placement or be within 1-year post-graduation when the placement starts. 
  • A degree (or working towards) in a relevant subject such as: Transport Management, Logistics, Business, Geography, Planning, or related disciplines. 
  • An interest in transport and improving public transport services. 
  • IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Outlook. 
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with good attention to detail. 

 Welsh language skills  

We welcome people who can speak or write in Welsh, but it’s not essential for this role.
