Overview

As a Relief Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in covering vacant shifts, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our client's premises around Bristol City Centre and other ABM managed sites located around Bristol.

Key information

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards and following established cleaning protocols. Additionally, you will collaborate with the ABM UK team to deliver exceptional service and meet the unique needs of each client. 

About the role

  • Perform general cleaning tasks in a Leisure/Retail/Shopping Centre/ Business Offices environments, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
  • Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials.
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and inform management when replenishment is needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets.
  • Complete special cleaning projects as assigned by Cleaning Manager

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role would be an advantage.
  • Ability to be flexible, as you will be required to work at other ABM run sites around Bristol.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, materials, and techniques. Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Essential

All candidates must possess as a MINIMUM a Full UK Driving Licence and have their own mode of transport. Any applicant that do not meet this requirement, are not recommended to apply. Role is predominently Monday to Friday, however some weekends will be required depending on location and shift pattern. Pay rate: £13.50.ph. Applicants are to be made aware that the role be external as well as internal areas ,and applicants will need to be operating at times in inclement weather. Full protective PPE is supplied to assist in these duties.
