£15,416 to £16,599
per year, pro rata
Part time, Permanent
(22 hours per week)

Key information

The successful candidate will work as part of our Surrey Family centre admin team but will be primarily based at Runnymede Family centre (currently based within Manor Farm Day Centre).

About the role

Runnymede Family centre provides holistic family support  for young people and families in the Runnymede district of Surrey, helping to give children the best start in life. There are a range of services on offer at the centre for families to get the support they need at the earliest opportunity to provide a healthy, nurturing, stable environment for their children including targeted 1:1 family support, facilitation of activity sessions such as "the baby bubble" and parenting courses.

Requirements

  • Well-developed numeracy and literacy skills for performing moderately difficult calculations and producing reports.
  • Proven substantial office experience.
  • Proven substantial experience with IT packages, including word processing, spreadsheets databases and windows applications
  • Experience in operating financial systems, including petty cash and budget monitoring and control
  • Experience in premises and facilities management.
  • Experience in dealing with members of the public and other agencies.
  • Numerate, accurate, methodical, and analytical.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and reliably, meeting deadlines.
  • Capability to manage the office, service, and staff in a confidential, innovative, adaptive, and consistent manner.
  • Skill in working in partnership with all staff, especially the Children’s Services Manager, demonstrating positive team working.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision, showing initiative when required.
  • Effective delegation of work if applicable.
  • Flexible and adaptable, particularly concerning working hours and location.
