£12.60
per hour, rising to £12.85 per hour after probation

(42 hours per week, 12 hour shifts including every other weekend)

Key information
You’ll be working full time 42 hours a week, 12 hour shifts, including every other weekend, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Longfield.
Located in the friendly village of Clayton in the suburbs of Bradford, Longfield House is a specialist residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.
About the role
Your day to day:
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
Requirements
You are:
- Genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in people’s lives
- An excellent communicator and a good team player
- Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating, and varied environment
- Passionate about empowering and supporting service user independence
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
