Key information

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to lead through coaching, support, training and performance management.

About the role

  • Direct line and performance management of advocates as defined within a team providing shoulder to shoulder support and guidance – no active case load 
  • Works across multiple contracts 
  • To provide management direction to line reports to deliver highest levels of performance against practice requirements and continuing professional development 
  • To make performance decisions to move individuals through appropriate informal and formal capability and conduct processes up to final written warning 
  • To work with the Practice Management team to ensure that the highest standards of advocacy are achieved 
  • To hold advocates to account for delivery against contract and advocacy standards, utilising a robust performance management approach to ensure continuous improvement 
  • To develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the development of best practice

Requirements

  • Evidential experience of supporting team members and taking a leading role within a team 
  • Evidential experience of cultivating successful relationships with external / internal stakeholders 
  • Evidential experience of being accountable for the quality of personal performance and raising suggested improvements to management 
  • Excellent knowledge of applying and embedding safeguarding policy and practice 
  • A proven ability to set and deliver the highest standards of quality and performance across diverse teams and taking actions where delivery falls short of expectations 
  • Resilient and determined 
  • Passionate about quality of service delivery and positive outcomes for clients
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK as required
