The right person for this role will ensure exemplary standards in respect of the trolley management and cleaning service provided at Castlepoint Shopping Park. Will support colleagues so that teamwork thrives. The right person will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest standards are always adhered to. Professional always and proactively interacting with the public as required.  

About the role

  • This is a dual role which may include a variety of tasks but specifically:  
  • To collect loose trolleys from all areas of the centre and secure them safely in the designated areas for public use.  
  • To perform various cleaning and waste management duties as required. 
  • To ensure that all duties carried out are strictly in accordance with our standards & policies so that quality work is delivered, meeting and exceeding our expectations.  
  • To always wear well laundered company uniform so that Castlepoint Shopping Park’s’ reputation for professionalism and quality is never compromised. 
  • To ensure that all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with Castlepoint and ABM’s Health and Safety procedures. Moreover, to demonstrate their commitment to the fact that each Castlepoint and ABM employee has a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that of persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions.  
  • Whilst at work to effectively assist with the public in a friendly and professional manner. 
  • To carry out your duties as directed by the Supervisor. Moreover, to always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements to working practices exist, putting forward suggestions so that ‘continuous improvement’ is the norm. 
  • To work in a proactive manner supporting and assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.  
  • To undertake ad hoc duties as directed and operationally required.  

Requirements

Essential:  

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.  
  • Excellent customer care skills  
  • Smart Clean Appearance – well-groomed always 
  • Totally committed to high standards and quality 
  • Full UK driving licence
