About the role

  • You will deal with a wide range of property clients from local Councils and London Boroughs, Network Rail, DfT, TfL, Water companies, and Telecoms providers to homeowners, farmers, equestrian and agri businesses and small and multinational commercial businesses. 
  • You will take an active part in assisting with the negotiation of acquisition and relocation packages for a range of property types including farming businesses, commercial and industrial businesses and residential property, supporting the consenting and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
  • Your work each day will vary, you could be supporting with gaining consent for access across third party land, negotiating lease events, acquiring land and buildings, negotiating business relocations, asset acquisitions and disposals, valuations and contributing to strategic land acquisition reports. 
  • You will undertake site visits, meet clients and colleagues, and attend public consultation events.

Requirements

  • A keen interest in the infrastructure of our country and the ways we can make a difference to the world we live in. 
  • You will be from land management, environmental, infrastructure, planning and development, land administration, geography, real estate and various educational backgrounds.
  • You will develop a broad understanding of the role in the entire property and real estate lifecycle from land registration and mapping to management to development to remediation and re use.
  • Ideally you will have a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited degree, however we do welcome applications from candidates with non-accredited degrees and other relevant qualifications.
