About the role

  • Partnering with Activity and Retail teams to provide financial insight and decision support
  • Reviewing and analysing end-to-end financial performance across A and L operations
  • Translating complex financial data into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders
  • Supporting the development of annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans
  • Monitoring performance against budgets and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Attending, hosting and contributing to weekly and monthly business reviews
  • Working with BI and Procurement teams to enhance margin and performance analysis
  • Supporting strong financial control across retail venues, including cash and margin control
  • Providing input into board-level reporting on Retail performance
  • Contributing financial expertise to wider strategic initiatives and business cases

Requirements

We will be interviewing for this role as suitable applications are received and may close this role before the closing date upon a successful candidate being appointed.

  • A recognised professional accounting or finance qualification
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience working collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and confidently
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach, with confidence to challenge constructively
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data and reporting tools
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting and performance management
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Curiosity and a desire to identify value-creating opportunities
  • Ambition to progress into a future finance leadership role
