Key information

Are you an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys variety, working with different people and helping projects run smoothly?

In this regional role, you will play an important part in providing administrative support to the Foster Carer Wellbeing Programme across a partnership of local authorities. 

This role includes an expectation to work from our Time Square office 5 to 10 days per month, with some travel across partner authorities and London on occasion to help support delivery of the programme sessions.

As an Administration Assistant, you will be at the heart of this pioneering regional wellbeing programme, providing essential administrative support to ensure everything runs smoothly. 

About the role

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the regional Foster Carer Wellbeing Programme.
  • Organise meetings, workshops and events, preparing agendas, papers, bookings, materials and participant communications.
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems, trackers and action logs, supporting programme monitoring and reporting.
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, newsletters, social posts, promotional materials and programme merchandise.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries from foster carers, partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience providing administrative or office support. 
  • Experience organising meetings, schedules or events. 
  • Experience managing documentation, records or administrative systems. 
  • Basic understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Experience designing and delivering workshops, group sessions or coaching interventions. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check.
