Key information

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for an AI and Automation Specialist to join our IT team.

We're embracing the opportunities that data, AI and automation can bring to improve services, make better decisions and create more time for colleagues to focus on the things that matter most to our customers.

As a key driver in our digital transformation journey, you’ll help shape how AI is used across Thirteen, enabling the safe, practical and responsible use of AI-powered technologies. You'll develop innovative solutions and ensure our systems, applications and data foundations are AI-ready.

This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

About the role

  • Enable AI-driven workplace services by designing, developing and supporting AI-powered tools across Microsoft 365 services, including Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI services.
  • Collaborate with Data Services, technology teams and colleagues across the business to ensure our systems, enterprise applications and data foundations are AI-ready.
  • Build and implement AI solutions, including copilots, agents, AI workflows and business solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve productivity, reduce manual effort and deliver better outcomes for our customers.
  • Establish standards, controls and governance to ensure AI solutions are secure, effective and used responsibly across Thirteen.
  • Produce clear documentation and support the smooth transition of solutions into day-to-day operational use.
