This role will suit somebody who is interested in becoming a Civil Engineer, as well as somebody who is keen to use CAD.
Civil engineering technician (level 3)
About the role
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Producing CAD drawings
- Preparing simple calculations
- Supporting the administration of projects
- Ensuring outputs meet the required standards
- Meeting agreed deadlines
- Maintaining drawing register
- Working as a member of a team
- Contributing to providing solutions to problems
- Working both in an office environment and on-site visits
