Key information

You will take an active role in the day to day running of the bar and or restaurant operation. Working closely with the Bar Manager and Head of Catering to drive the team to deliver outstanding customer service and sales.

About the role

  • Assist in recruitment, inductions, line management and help to develop staff, establishing a high performing, motivated and commercially minded team.
  • Support the implementation of training, ensuring compliance, improved service levels and profitability.
  • Support till system management.
  • Cashing up and till reconciliation.
  • Ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety are adhered to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that all catering equipment is maintained, serviced and kept clean fit for purpose.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a busy bar and or restaurant environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent people skills, able to supervise and motivate a high performing team.
  • Well organised, with good planning skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team in alignment with our values.
  • A good understanding of Food Safety and Health and Safety.
  • Knowledge of licensing legislation.
  • Be able to work to high standards under pressure, maintaining attention to detail.
