Key information

As a Business Service Assistant, you'll be involved in lots of different tasks as you support the day-to-day running of the office. This is a busy and varied job; no two days will be the same. You’ll have an important part to play in your team meeting its goals, so you’ll always be looking at how you can offer help where needed.

The team consists of 5 Rangers, an Apprentice Ranger, a Facilities Manager and a wider cohort of countryside volunteers. The administrative focus will therefore be countryside‑orientated, supporting operational delivery, coordination, compliance tasks, and the day‑to‑day needs of a busy, restore nature focused team.

For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

About the role

  • You’ll be helping to run a business service for the wider team that is efficient, proactive and flexible.
  • Your responsibilities will include responding to public enquiries, maintaining accurate electronic and paper records, supporting the Ranger team with financial tracking, and assisting the Facilities Manager with compliance and environmental monitoring and other general administrative tasks.
