As a Break support worker, you’ll be working hands-on day in day out with the young people living in the children’s home.
The first twelve months of your time at Break will see you build relationships with the young people we care for and support in our homes. Day to day you may find yourself planning and taking part in trips and activities and learning new skills to help young people overcome communication difficulties.
Every milestone in our disability services is celebrated and treasured. We can’t promise every day will be easy, but we can promise the sense of pride you’ll feel for the young people you support and care for.
You will be required to work shifts based on a 4 week rolling rota, consisting of a mix of 7am to 2.30pm / 2pm to 9.30pm and a minimum of 2 sleep in’s a month.
Please note that you must have a full, valid, manual driving licence.
