The successful individual will provide 12.5 hours of coverage per week, Monday through Friday.  You will assist the team in maintaining all communal areas of the building, including offices, to a high standard while adopting a sensitive and supportive approach to our elderly and vulnerable residents.

Please be aware that although your primary location will be The Ridings, you will be required to support other schemes on occasion; therefore you should have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Key responsibilities:

• To work as part of a team to ensure that all areas within the building are clean and tidy.
• To maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and ensure they are stored securely according to COSHH guidelines.
• To report minor repairs to management.
• To wash paintwork and clean windows and doors as required.
• Be a Guinness champion by following and promoting policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.

• Experience in cleaning.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and COSHH guidelines.
• Understanding of the needs of particular client groups, e.g. the elderly.
• IT Literate.
