Key information

This role is part of the Food and Beverage team and is line managed by the Food and Beverage Operations Manager.

About the role

Leading on all things coffee, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our coffee roastery operation, from taking full responsibility for the roasting of our Amgueddfa coffee, to overseeing stock and equipment orders and delivery of the finished product across our estate and further afield.

Requirements

  • Experience as a lead roaster (Head Roaster, Head of Coffee or Roasting Supervisor)
  • Experience working in the coffee industry
  • Experience sourcing and buying green coffee
  • Experience in transport logistics
  • Confident cupping to SCA standards
  • Experience using roasting software
  • Experience using CRM management tools
  • Experience creating production and packing schedules
  • Experience managing a coffee warehouse operation (ordering, fulfilling deliveries, liaising with transportation companies)
