Key information

We’re looking for a dynamic Learner Attraction Partnership Manager to help us grow and strengthen our network of local referral partners. You’ll spot new opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and champion what the The Workers' Educational Association (WEA) has to offer.

In this role, you’ll be the go‑to contact for partners across South Yorkshire engaging, informing, and inspiring them about our provision.

About the role

  • Sustain, enhance and maximise local referral partnerships and build new ones which align to contract requirements
  • Respond to emerging contractual need and work collaboratively with internal teams to develop an appropriate response
  • Lead learner attraction activity through your partnership knowledge and relationships
  • Actively seek out and participate in key stakeholder group meetings and events to understand local priorities to inform future planning
  • Build a network of referral partners who can support The Workers' Educational Association (WEA) learners to progress to a positive outcome, including employment
  • Manage and mitigate reputational risk with partners.

Requirements

  • Essential that you have worked, built and developed local partner relationships
  • Collaborative, flexible and willing to travel across a dispersed geography
  • Ability to take a learner through the learner enrolment journey with patience, positivity, and passion
  • Presenting and promotion of a product or services to potential users and partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to engage, enthuse and influence
  • Good analytic judgement and highly numerate and able to work with data and systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision while prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who can proactively manage and organise introductions, meetings and events.
