As our Community Coordinator in Cheshire West, you'll play a key role in shaping activities that make a lasting difference to people's wellbeing.

MHA Communities Cheshire West has been established in the local communities of Ellesmere Port and Neston since 1991.

About the role

  • Coordinate and deliver a range of community activities that promote friendship, wellbeing and independence, managing a team of volunteers who support the delivery of our services.
  • Develop with the scheme manager new groups and activities based on local need and participant feedback.
  • Support existing activities, including social groups, lunch clubs, outings and wellbeing sessions and coordinate our volunteer teams.
  • Maintain accurate records using our customer relationship management (CRM) system, Microsoft Office and other digital systems.

Requirements

  • Enjoys working with people and building relationships.
  • Is organised, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
  • Has good communication and administrative skills.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and other digital systems.
  • Has a full driving licence and access to a car, as travel across the local area is required.
