About the role

  • To improve child health and development by helping parents to provide a secure, nurturing and stimulating environment for their children.
  • To deliver New Parent, Baby Talk, Toddler Talk, Healthy Weights, and School Readiness workshops.
  • Support early years setting to implement the Hampshire Healthy Heroes workshops.
  • To support local communities to develop initiatives and resources that support the healthy development of young children and their families.
  • To promote healthy lifestyle choices through a community network of partners, champions, and volunteers.

Requirements

  • A positive strength based approach.
  • Experience of working with parents and young children.
  • Experience of delivering workshops and courses for families.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and reporting processes. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of attachment theory and application in practice.
