Key information

The 2026 Proms season runs from 17th July to 12th September, and we are looking for a Content Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work and communicate with a wide range of people – from artists, ensembles, publishers and agents to internal departments. The main duty in this role will be the administering of complimentary and promoter tickets but there will be many other tasks which will be informed by the Business Coordinator. 

About the role

The Business team works very closely with Marketing, Communications and Live Events. The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow their skills in these areas in the role, through tasks such as setting up systems, providing administrative support, and working at events throughout the Proms season. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact, record and administer the complimentary and promoter tickets – including those issues to artists, agents, publishers and internal contacts.
  • Maintain accurate spreadsheets of complimentary, corporate, promoter/guest tickets and financial information.
  • Send through lists with ticket requirements to the Royal Albert Hall Box Office on a daily basis.
  • Manage the spreadsheet recording internal orders for concert programmes.
  • Assist in some front of house duties, such as Press Duty.
  • Undertake general administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in an administrative role, with excellent forward planning and organisation skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, Google Docs and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to cope under pressure with a demanding workload and short deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
  • A flexible approach and work using initiative, as part of a team in a timely and organised way.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (i.e. able to communicate collaboratively and confidently with a wide range of people).
