Our Customer Delivery Drivers get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers in their homes every day. That is why this role is about much more than just driving; it is about helping others and delivering great service, with a smile.
£13.35 Per hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25.

About the role

  • Ensure that the van and trays that have been used are clean and kept tidy and organised.
  • To leave the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish, and picking up litteras you see it.
  • Ensure that trays are washed as part of the tray wash process. 
  • Load the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness.
  • Talk to the customer about any changes to their order, including short code item and substitutions, offering them a refund for anything they are unhappy with.
  • To take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
  • Explain to the customer that they will not be charged any more for their substitutions.
  • Deliver during the customers time slot.
  • Call the customer before arriving at their property if early.
  • Call the store and or centre if running thirty or more minutes late.

Requirements

  • A valid UK or European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) Driving licence Full or Automatic only for at least twelve months with no more than three penalty points.
