Per week, before deductions for Tax and National Insurance.
Full time, Internship, Hybrid
(Full time hours from Monday to Friday. Some roles may require occasional weekend work.)
Multiple UK locations with either in person or hybrid working arrangements.

Key information

The Administration and Business Support internship roles help teams stay organised and ensure day to day activities run smoothly. Interns may work in areas such as business management, corporate services, operational support, planning and reporting, or commercial teams.

The internship will run for eight weeks with the expected start date of 1st February 2027 subject to the successful completion of security and onboarding checks.

Successful applicants will be matched to an internship role based on a range of
factors, including location preferences, skills and experience. We cannot guarantee
placement within a specific team or business area.

About the role

Typical tasks could include:

  • Organising meetings.
  • Managing information and records.
  • Updating spreadsheets and trackers.
  • Preparing reports and presentations.
  • Monitoring inboxes and diaries.
  • Helping colleagues coordinate activities across the business.

Requirements

  • Be aged eighteen to twenty five on 1st February 2027.
  • Be autistic.
  • Have the right to work in the UK and meet the requirements of the Civil Service
    Nationality Rules.
  • Are interested in a career within the Civil Service, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), or the business area they are applying for.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Can work positively with people in a variety of roles.
