(Full time hours from Monday to Friday. Some roles may require occasional weekend work.)
Multiple UK locations with in person working arrangements.

Key information

Operations and Customer Support roles are focused on delivering services directly to
customers, employers and colleagues. Interns may work in Jobcentres, customer service teams, recruitment teams or employment support services.

The internship will run for eight weeks with the expected start date of 1st February 2027 subject to the successful completion of security and onboarding checks.

Successful applicants will be matched to an internship role based on a range of factors, including location preferences, skills and experience. We cannot guarantee placement within a specific team or business area.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a busy team environment.
  • Be aged eighteen to twenty five on 1st February 2027.
  • Be autistic.
  • Have the right to work in the UK and meet the requirements of the Civil Service
    Nationality Rules.
  • Are interested in a career within the Civil Service, the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), or the business area they are applying for.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Can work positively with people in a variety of roles.
