Across this multi‑year apprenticeship, you’ll rotate through our AWS or Azure Cloud Platform teams and the DevOps Platform team, learning how to operate large‑scale cloud platforms used across EDF. You’ll work closely with Technical Leads, Product Owners and engineering partners within Nuclear IT Services, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑evolving digital environment.
Your learning experience is delivered virtually through QA — including online tutorials, project work, labs, and peer learning. You’ll build specialist knowledge in cloud operations, DevOps practices, and platform engineering, all while contributing to our mission to support the UK’s transition towards An Electric Britain.
You’ll be classified as a remote worker, ideally based in the South West, with occasional travel required to EDF offices in #Gloucester and #Heysham. Your training and development will be delivered virtually by QA, giving you flexibility to learn while gaining on‑the‑job experience.
Throughout the scheme, you’ll engage with Nuclear IT Services teams across the UK, building relationships with colleagues, technical mentors and platform engineering specialists who will guide your progression.
