Digital Health and Care Wales - NHS

Wales

About the role

Digital Health and Care Wales is a new Special Health Authority created to take forward the digital transformation needed for better health and care in Wales, making services more accessible and sustainable while supporting personal health and well-being.

As a new organisation we have a bold and ambitious programme of integration and innovation that includes expansion of the digital patient record and the creation of a world-leading national data resource, improving the way data is collected, shared and used.

We deliver innovative and life-saving services and information to frontline staff, giving them the best digital tools to help care for patients.

We’re redesigning the technical architecture and developing ground-breaking digital services that will make an impact on health and care for the people of Wales.

Our services are already used daily by thousands of healthcare professionals, connecting Welsh health and care across hospitals, GP practices, community and the patient’s home.

We employ more than 800 people in a range of roles covering software development, networking, cyber-security, project management, statistics and analytics.

Headquartered in Cardiff, we have offices in Swansea, Mold, Mamhilad and Pencoed, and offer flexible working arrangements.

We’re now looking for new talent to join our dynamic teams.

If you can picture yourself using your expertise to make a real difference to our population in Wales and to NHS Wales we may have the opportunity you’re looking for.
