Start time is 8am and finish time is 4pm Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm on Friday
Overtime in the evenings and weekends with given notice
Access to a vehicle which is kitted out with all building materials and electrical plant
Given a work mobile and limited time travelling
Provided with all workwear and PPE including steel toecap shoes and waterproofs with replacement of ripped or torn clothes and shoes.
About the role
Drive between different home locations on a pre-arranged basis.
Undertake assessments of the repairs and maintenance work required and take appropriate action.
Undertake a range of electrical repairs & maintenance tasks to agreed quality and
performance standards.
Liaise with customers before, during and after repair & refurbishment work, to ensure the least possible inconvenience, including agreeing suitable appointments.
Determine and arrange the appropriate resources required to complete repairs & maintenance work and remove any waste
Requirements
Experience of completing electrical repairs and maintenance tasks.
NVQ level 3 qualification in electrician installation or equivalent electrical industry qualification.
City and Guilds 2382:2018 (18th Edition of the wiring regulations).
Inspect, testing and certification of electrical installations as stated in BS 7671.
