Technology and data are central to our mission. Our systems power web sites, clinics across the UK, secure analytics and research systems, pipelines that process highly sensitive health and genetic data, and we are continuing to grow our engineering capability to support this ambition.
We are hiring an Engineering Manager to join our Researcher Product Squads. This role will report to the Head of Engineering of our Researcher Pillar and initially work with one squad, with a trajectory of taking on an additional Researcher Squad within the first year.
Our squads are focused on our community of world class health researchers and work closely with our access governance- and commercial teams to provide researchers with various tools, content and support to join the Our Future Health mission and run studies of good quality in our trusted research environment.
The role is not hands on, but an engineering background will help to effectively mentor and coach engineers, guide the squad through technical trade-off discussions and contribute to the broader technical roadmap.
If you are passionate about your work, collaborating on cross-functional teams, creating the conditions for engineers to do their best work and balancing pace, quality and sustainability, we would love to hear from you.
This role will be fully hybrid with the expectation you can come to our Holborn, London office a few times per month, such as for squad leadership and workshop meetings.
At Our Future Health, we recognise the importance of having a diverse workforce and ensuring that all candidates, regardless of their background, have equitable access to our application process. We proactively encourage applicants who identify as having a disability, neurodiversity, or long-term health conditions to let us know if they require any reasonable adjustments as part of their application process.
We welcome applications from all who may not feel they match the full criteria, so if you have most of the below, we'd like to hear from you:
We recommend you apply as soon as possible as occasionally due to high volumes of applications, we need to close our postings early.
