Key information

We’re looking an Events and Community Fundraising Products Executive to join our Events and Community Team. We’re a results-driven team focused on maximising opportunities, reaching ambitious goals, and delivering an outstanding experience for our supporters. 

You’ll help develop and deliver a number of our virtual fundraising products, a programme that consists of The Month Series, Day of Darts, The Big Golf Race and Prostate United. Working across Events and Community Fundraising, Communications, Services and with external partners, you’ll bring colleagues together to keep plans, budgets, income and performance on track.

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.  

About the role

  • Project manage cross-organisational teams to plan and deliver a portfolio of virtual and mass fundraising products.
  • Manage delivery plans, income, expenditure and financial and non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting on progress and helping keep each product on track.
  • Build clear, motivational supporter communications across email, social media and short messaging service (SMS), and help develop creative campaign materials.
  • Use insight into supporters’ motivations, interests and needs to develop engaging journeys that increase participation and value.
  • Analyse and report on campaign and product performance, flagging risks and recommending improvements to maximise return on investment.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, sharing opportunities to improve existing products and supporter experience.

Requirements

  • Experience of planning and delivering fundraising products, campaigns or comparable projects involving several stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use data and insight to identify issues, draw conclusions and recommend practical improvements.
  • A strong eye for detail and the ability to write clear, accurate and motivational communications for different audiences and channels.
  • Experience of monitoring expenditure against an agreed budget.
