We are looking for a part-time Paralegal (Family and Civil) to join our Justice Team on a fixed term basis
£24,784.50 to £26,390 pro rata
Per year
Part time, Hybrid
(22.5 hours per week. Duration: Sept 2027 with a potential to expand)
Derby / Hybrid depending on location

Key information

You will provide essential administration to support to a team of telephone advisers with a range of administrative tasks, including data collection and input, and the preparation, printing and posting of letters and forms

About the role

  • Support Family solicitor with a varied caseload of family law matters
  • Provide legal and procedural support through telephone, face-to-face and email contact
  • Draft and prepare court documents, applications, statements, correspondence, instructions to Counsel, and hearing bundles as directed.
  • Undertake legal and factual research, review case papers and histories, and assist in identifying the most appropriate next steps in each matter.
  • Hold a caseload with the support and supervisor of the Family solicitor
