We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children and families within the community.

The Family Hub Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Children and Family Hub, ensuring the effective coordination of administrative processes, activities, and family support services. 

You will thrive in a busy environment, demonstrate strong teamwork skills, and show initiative in supporting the smooth running of the hub.

About the role

  • The Family Hub Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Children and Family Hub, ensuring the effective coordination of administrative processes, activities, and family support services. 
  • The post holder will act as a first point of contact for families, provide information and signposting, support the delivery of groups and programmes, and maintain accurate records and data systems. 
  • Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies, the Family Hub Coordinator will contribute to creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment that supports positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.

Requirements

  • A good standard of general education (for example. GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths).
  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Office systems, Excel, Outlook, Word and databases.
  • Understanding of the needs of children, young people, and families.
  • Appointments are subject to satisfactory Safer Recruitment checks and receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced Children and Adults Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
