Key information

We are looking for a Finance Officer who will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s bookkeeping, including producing quarterly management accounts for review by the Executive Director and maintaining accurate financial records for year-end reporting.

About the role

  • Maintenance of the Company’s main financial (Sales and Purchase) ledgers including the generation and posting on Quickbooks of invoices for sales and purchases.
  • Ensure purchase and sales invoices are paid on time.
  • Reconciling monthly bank statements and maintenance of company back accounts.
  • Completion of quarterly VAT returns and related payments
  • Managing and running payroll, and logging NI and PAYE payments.
  • Ensure auto enrolment of pensions and private pensions is in order and required payments made on time.
  • Manage all of the invoices, expense claims, travel claims, petty cash floats and receipts. Checking them, gaining approval for payment from relevant colleague.
  • Creating a weekly list of payments for Executive Director to make through BACS.
  • Maintenance of the Company’s fixed asset register.
