This is an excellent opportunity for someone already working in financial accounting, audit, reporting or control, or someone ambitious and ready to take their first step into a broader financial leadership role.

• Lead and strengthen key financial controls, ensuring income, expenditure and balance sheet activity are accurately accounted for.
• Own and improve financial regulations, policies, delegated authorities and the financial control framework.
• Lead the monthly close process and support the production of accurate, timely management accounts and reporting packs.
• Take a lead role in statutory accounts, audit planning, audit files, external audit delivery and regulatory returns.
• Support process improvement, automation, better use of finance systems and stronger data quality.
