About the role

  • You will lead the creation of high-quality visual content across digital and print 
  • You will travel to the homes of the people we support across the country for occasional photoshoots, sometimes taking the photos and videos yourself and sometimes supporting external photographers and videographers 
  • You will edit day-to-day video and animation content for a variety of internal stakeholders 
  • You will not just follow our brand guidelines; you’ll help them change with the times, staying sharp and compelling.
  • You will be an early adopter of AI to support simple graphic design, enabling you to spend more time adding value on more complex projects 
  • You will maintain our photo library, including consent management.
  • You will maintain our brand centre to enable colleagues group-wide to make good use of our branded templates and resources. 
  • You will deliver easy read and other accessible formats as required 
  • You will be committed to continued professional development and staying at the front of your profession. 
  • You will use Adobe Suite plus Canva, Vyond, Easymaker and other software 
  • You will have a strong attention to detail, proofing and checking work produced

Requirements

  • A midweight graphic designer with a strong track record
  • Has designed a range of printed and digital materials to a good standard and in accordance with brand guidelines  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a sound grasp of grammar
  • Computer literate, having an excellent grasp of the Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, and the ability to learn how to use new applications 
  • Excel in the use of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro and Acrobat
  • A good understanding of the print process, as well as related issues such as appropriate image formats and resolutions
  • Able to work flexibly and to respond effectively to changes in the workload 
  • Ability to coordinate and oversee photoshoots as well as manage suppliers
  • Articulate, with a professional approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude 
  • A clear commitment to the Dimensions values of partnership, courage, respect, integrity and ambition 
  • Understanding of and commitment to enabling and championing respect for Equality and Diversity 
  • Personable and able to build constructive working relationships at all levels of the organisation, including with people 
  •  Creative, good at problem solving and calm under pressure
