We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources and Wellbeing Officer to provide first line Human Resources support and guidance across the organisation.
£26,370.94
Per year.
Part time
(30 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year with occasional flexibility.)

You will play a key role in implementing Human Resources policies, supporting managers and staff, and ensuring compliance with employment law and regulatory standards.

About the role

As our Human Resources (HR) and Wellbeing Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we recruit, retain, and develop the right people to deliver our mission. You will:

  • Support and lead on employee relations, including investigations and hearings.
  • Champion staff wellbeing and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives.
  • Support and manage Human Resources processes including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, and training compliance.
  • Maintain accurate Human Resources data and ensure General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic projects such as People Strategy, Wellbeing, and Disability Confident.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience at Human Resources Advisor level.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and Human Resources best practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, computer and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Remain calm under pressure.
  • This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and satisfactory references.
