We are looking for a Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator (6 month fixed term contract) to join our M and S site in Milton Keynes. 

You will play a key role in supporting the site's people agenda. Working as the Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator, you'll help deliver a first-class Human Resources service, supporting colleagues and managers across employee relations, recruitment, engagement, administration and compliance within a busy operational environment.

About the role

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, referencing, probation reviews and leaver processes
  • Assisting with employee relations activities, including absence management, disciplinary and grievance administration, occupational health referrals and meeting support
  • Driving employee engagement initiatives and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture across the site
  • Maintaining accurate Human Records (HR) records, reports and people data, ensuring compliance with company policies, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and employment legislation

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a busy Human Resources (HR) environment, supporting a broad range of Human Resources activities including recruitment and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources processes and administration, with the ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence supporting managers and employees at all levels
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment, with strong Microsoft Office skills
