The locations of these roles are either York, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cambridge, Swindon, Bristol, or Portsmouth, inclusive with hybrid working.

As our Insight Analyst, you will support the generation of clear, actionable insight by combining existing and new datasets about the historic environment and its wider social, political and environmental context. 

Working under the guidance of the Senior Insight Analyst and alongside Policy Development colleagues within the HM Treasury Green Book policy cycle (ROAMEF), you will deliver high quality analysis, contribute to proportionate evaluations and present findings in plain English with effective visuals.

• Postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrable aptitude for analysis and evidence synthesis
• Good data handling skills (cleaning, joining, documenting) and an understanding of data quality
• Good organisation and time‑management
• Awareness of the historic environment sector and its policy context.
