RiDC is looking for a Communications and Knowledge Exchange Manager to lead our communications, stakeholder engagement and profile-raising activities. This is an exciting opportunity to help amplify the voices of disabled people and ensure our research influences policymakers, businesses, charities and service providers.

Home working and with occasional travel across the UK.

Key information

We're looking for an energetic and creative communications professional with excellent writing, digital engagement and relationship-building skills. You'll develop communications campaigns, manage social media channels, create engaging content, organise events and help translate complex research findings into clear, accessible messages that reach the audiences who can create change. 

About the role

A significant part of the role will support RiDC's pioneering National Lottery Community Fund programme exploring the barriers disabled people face in participating in climate action and sustainability. The role will help ensure the project's learning, evidence and recommendations reach the people and organisations capable of delivering a more inclusive transition to net zero.

  • Annual salary: £42,000 (5% employer pension contribution)

Requirements

This role would suit someone with experience in communications, marketing, public affairs, stakeholder engagement or knowledge exchange, particularly within the charity, research, policy or public sectors.
