Join BBC Radio WM to help bring local stories to life across platforms. As a Journalist Co-ordinator, you’ll support programme teams in creating compelling digital content — from social media and visualised radio moments to online audio, video clips and TV news.

This role is advertised as part of our BBC Extend programme for disabled people. To apply for this role you should identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent and must meet either the definition of disability in the Equality Act (2010), or the definition of disability in the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) if applying in Northern Ireland.

About the role

  • Support programme teams across BBC Radio WM to create engaging digital content for social media, BBC Sounds, online news and TV.
  • Identify and visualise compelling radio moments to enhance cross-platform storytelling and audience reach.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to plan and deliver content that reflects the diversity and vibrancy of the West Midlands.
  • Help shape innovative approaches to digital storytelling, using tools and formats that connect with local audiences.
